Farmington-based TRUMPF Inc. said it surpassed $1 billion in North American sales for the first time in its recently completed fiscal year.
TRUMPF Inc., the North American subsidiary of German laser-cutting bending and welding technology company TRUMPF Group, reported $1.05 billion in sales revenues in the 2022-23 fiscal year that ended June 30. That was up 33% from the prior year, according to TRUMPF.
In the U.S. market alone, sales totaled $942 million, the company said.
The parent company, TRUMPF Group, reported a 27% increase in sales to $5.7 billion.
In addition to the company’s 58-acre campus in Farmington, TRUMPF Inc. has U.S. facilities in Michigan, California and Illinois.
In March, TRUMPF Inc. broke ground on a 55,800-square-foot advanced manufacturing addition to its Farmington Industrial Park property. The $40-million project is the German manufacturer’s seventh expansion at the site, which includes about 400,000 square feet of operating space between manufacturing, warehousing and offices.
