AMERICARES GALA HAS LIFTOFF

The 25th annual AmeriCares Airlift Benefit “A Journey of Hope” raised more than $1.2 million for the organization’s relief efforts worldwide. The sold-out event attracted 750 guests to the Panorama Hangar at Westchester County Airport. The highlight of the evening was the airlift to Guatemala: 75 guests departed the gala on a chartered plane for a 24-hour whirlwind tour of the hospitals, clinics and homes for children and the elderly the Stamford-based nonprofit supports in Guatemala.
