The American Heart Association (AHA) recently presented its 2019 Woman of Distinction award to Jill Hummel, president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wallingford, at the Hartford Go Red For Women luncheon. Hummel has made a significant impact on the health of women in Connecticut as an AHA volunteer, executive leader and top fundraiser over the past 10 years.
