AMERICAN EAGLE FCU GIVES TO SOUTHINGTON PUPILS

American Eagle President and CEO William J. Dokas presents a $5,000 check to Janet Mellon, Southington’s community services director. The grant from the credit union’s philanthropy fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving commemorated the Feb. 24 opening of its new branch at 888 Queen St. in Southington. The money will pay for needy-student backpacks filled with school supplies.
