AMC’s Camille named to higher-ed board

Albertus Magnus College President Marc M. Camille, Ed.D., has been elected to the board of directors of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), a national policy organization serving as a unified voice for private, nonprofit higher education. Camille just began his three-year term, which concludes in February 2023. He represents Region I (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont) and serves on the Committee on Accountability.

Founded in 1976, NAICU is based in Washington, D.C. and has more than 1,000 member institutions and associations. One of six major presidential higher education associations, its membership comprises presidents and senior leaders from accredited institutions that reflect the diversity of private, nonprofit education in the U.S.

Farmington-headquartered health plan ConnectiCare has named Brian Pagliaro senior vice president, chief sales and marketing officer. In this role he will lead ConnectiCare’s sales, account management and marketing teams. Pagliaro will be responsible for the company’s membership growth working with brokers across all commercial market segments. Pagliaro has held various senior leadership positions in sales, marketing and account management at Tufts Health Plan in Massachusetts and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina.
