The Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association Inc. has signed a lease for 4,186 square feet of offices in Rocky Hill.
The group’s pending move to the first floor of 2075 Silas Deane Highway from Berlin will provide a more visible and accessible location for members, volunteers and staff, officials say.
O,R & L Commercial, LLC represented landlord Destiny Properties LLC in the lease.

Milford storage lease
The Well Seasoned Nest has leased 800 square feet in Milford for distributing and storing garden ornaments and other items.
The space is in a multi-tenant building at 158 Research Drive.
The Geenty Group, Realtors in Branford represented landlord D’Amato Investments LLC and tenant Francix X. Brogan in the lease.
Bridgeport adds FilmChest
FilmChest Inc. has purchased a foreclosed Bridgeport building for $435,000 cash — well under its appraised value. The New York firm intends to use the space for storing film, video and other media, a broker says.
FilmChest paid about $9.59 a square foot for the 45,361-square-foot building at 110-118 Congress St. that for two decades was used as a self-storage facility.
Last October, lender Casco Bay Financial Corp., of Portland, Me., foreclosed on the building that, based on city records, sold in 2006 for $1.5 million and is currently appraised at $1.97 million, according to broker Angel Commercial LLC.
FilmChest offers high-quality content for use in broadcast television, film projects, video streaming, distribution, public television, cable or other professional needs, and has one of the world’s largest libraries of public domain movies and series.
HAVCO’s Branford space
HAVCO Comfort Systems Inc. has leased 5,500 square feet in North Branford.
HAVCO President Kevin Lynch said the space at 101-B Fowler Road will serve as a shop and offices.
The Geenty Group, Realtors represented the tenant and landlords David and Susan Domizi in the lease.
Cigna takes Windsor space
Cigna has consolidated multiple offices into all of the 122,000 square feet at 3 Waterside Crossing in Windsor.
The building is one of a number of Class A office buildings in the Griffin Office Park on the banks of the Connecticut River. According to its website, 3 Waterside Crossing’s amenities include a cafeteria, jogging trails and a fitness center with lockers and showers.
