Myles Alderman Jr., who co-founded Church Street law firm Alderman & Alderman in 1992, has left the firm to join Halloran & Sage, according to the firms.
Alderman will chair Halloran’s bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and restructuring practice group.
Halloran has downtown offices in One Goodwin Square, as well as Danbury, Middletown, New Haven, New London, Westport, and Washington, D.C.
A spokeswoman for Halloran said Alderman was the sole partner at his firm, which had several of-counsel attorneys. Alderman’s wife and co-founder, Linda, stopped practicing law in 2006 because of an illness.
