Albertus Magnus College recently obtained full accreditation for its master of science degree in human services.
The Council for Standards in Human Service Education granted the approval to the New Haven-based Catholic college.
Albertus’ 39-credit master of science in human services degree program offers courses in topics such as case management, counseling techniques and addiction counseling.
Courses prepare students for careers as counselors for clients who are experiencing a range of issues, from post-traumatic stress disorder to addiction.

Founded in 1925, Albertus has approximately 1,300 students enrolled across its undergraduate and graduate programs.
