Ahead of important election, gubernatorial candidates discuss plans, policies with HBJ

Next Tuesday, Nov. 8, will be an important election for the state of Connecticut and country. 

On the national level, Republicans are trying to regain control of Congress. In Connecticut, the state’s highest political office is up for grabs with incumbent Democratic Gov. Ned Lamont taking on GOP challenger Bob Stefanowski and Independent candidate Robert Hotaling.
