AG sounds alarm on security company

At the request of the Department of Consumer Protection, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has sued Safe Home Security Inc. and Safe Home Monitoring Inc., both of Rocky Hill, and their owner, David G. Roman, for breaking contract renewal laws, harassing customers, installing faulty equipment, not fixing the bad equipment and violating contractor laws.  The lawsuit seeks compensation for consumers, up to $5,000 per violation in penalties and reimbursement for the state’s litigation costs.
