Connecticut Attorney General George Jepsen has named Perry Zinn Rowthorn of West Hartford as the state’s next deputy AG, his office announced today.
Zinn Rowthorn replaces Nora Dannehy, who is leaving later this month for a new job.
Zinn Rowthorn, a University of Connecticut School of Law graduate, has been an associate attorney for general litigation since 2009. He joined the department in 1999. He previously served an associate AG role in the areas of consumer protection, public safety and special litigation.
Jepsen also announced today that Margaret Q. Chapple, associate attorney general for administration and management, will assume the role of associate attorney general for litigation.
The new roles take effect Oct. 18.
