After purchasing a Hartford office building a few years ago, Loyalty Insurance Marketing Group has relocated its West Hartford headquarters there — a move its founder says reflects a long-term bet on the city.
Founder Xaymara Ramirez, principal of Loyalty Plaza LLC, purchased 645 Farmington Ave. in December 2023 for $890,000, property records show.
The building has 11 units in total. Ramirez occupies two of them — a Loyalty Studio on the ground floor and a home office on the second floor, where she takes up half the level. Eight of the remaining units are rented to other tenants, and one is vacant.
The agency, which Ramirez founded in 2011, had previously operated out of 1224 Farmington Ave. in West Hartford. The agency held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the building Thursday, drawing a large crowd.
“I made the decision to purchase the building, not just lease office space,” Ramirez said. “For me, that was very intentional. It represents a long-term investment in Hartford, in our company, in our clients, in our advisors, and in the community we serve. This is our home base, and we are building something that we want to last.”
The new space is designed to house in-person client consultations, financial education workshops, adviser training and content production. Ramirez said the move bucks a broader industry trend toward virtual-only service.
“A lot of firms today are moving everything virtually, and while virtual service is convenient for many people, there is still a large part of the community that values in-person guidance, education, and human connection,” she said. “This new location allows us to provide that.”
Hartford serves as Loyalty’s main headquarters. The agency also operates a branch office in Fishers, Indiana, its first expansion outside Connecticut. About 50 people are affiliated with the company in total, including administrative staff along with independent licensed brokers and advisers serving clients in multiple states.
Loyalty offers insurance, Medicare, retirement planning and financial education services.
