Aetna targets Hispanic business market

Aetna Inc. and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce have entered a pact in which the Hartford health insurer’s products will be marketed to chamber members nationwide.

Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

Aetna’s individual health products, including high-deductible, preventive care plans and other services, will be offered initially to Hispanic chamber members in Florida, Pennsylvania and Texas.

However, access will expand to more than 200 local chambers and three million Hispanic Chamber members nationwide, authorities said.
