The international unit of Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc. named a former McKesson Corp. official to a key slot building its overseas market for clinical analytics and wellness programs.
Matthew Hunt is the new managing director of health services at Aetna International, based in London. Hunt reports to head Sandip Patel.
Hunt’s focus is on deepening penetration of Aetna’s services to help improve health care quality and outcomes for governments and corporate employers in the United Kingdom and globally.
Hunt previously was with McKesson Technology Solutions, where he served as vice president of international sales and marketing. In that role, he established the care management business for McKesson’s international operations group.
