Hartford health insurer Aetna has inked a new provider contracts with New Jersey hospital system AtlantiCare.
AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center has two hospital locations — Atlantic City and Pomona, NJ. Both will now participate in the Aetna network.
This means that Aetna members can access care at these facilities at in-network benefit levels.
Aetna also said it plans to expand its network of primary care physicians and specialists as a result of this new agreement during the first quarter of 2013.
