Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc. signed an in-network contract with Shriners Hospitals for Children that allows Aetna members access to its hospitals in 16 states, including the one in Boston.
Approximately 200 physicians employed by Shriners Hospitals for Children also will be joining Aetna’s network.
Financial terms of the three-year deal that takes effect Aug. 1 weren’t disclosed.
