David A. Queller, one of Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc.’s top national salesmen the past half-decade, is its new head of national accounts.
He assumes his new role immediately, reporting to Joseph M. Zubretsky, senior executive vice president and Aetna’s head of national businesses.
Queller has spent the last two years as president of Aetna’s Southeast region.
Previously, Queller spent eight years national accounts, leading the eastern region in sales the past five years, the insurer said.
He began his national accounts sales and account service career as head of North Texas and Oklahoma.
He has held previous leadership roles with ChannelPoint, Prudential Health Care, and Cigna HealthCare.
