Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc. is committing some $500,000 to be the title sponsor the Connecticut Whale’s new amateur hockey program.
The three-year deal with Whalers Sports & Entertainment makes Aetna the first member of the “Whalers Alliance,” the partners said Wednesday.
Games will be played at downtown Hartford’s XL Center.
