Hartford health insurance giant Aetna Inc. has acquired iTriage, the Lakewood, Colo., maker of a smart phone app that helps people find information about medical issues and doctors, and points them to nearby facilities in an emergency, The Denver Business Journal reports.
Aetna made the acquisition at the end of September, the paper says on its Web site.
The companies kept the purchase quiet prior to Aetna talking about it with Wall Street investors last week. Terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed.
