Kaman Corp. booked record net sales of $431.7 million in the second quarter, the Bloomfield manufacturer reported.
The company’s aerospace division sales were up nearly 10 percent to $161.5 million, mainly due to higher military program sales.
Its distribution segment sales were up 7 percent to $270.2 million. Acquisitions contributed $25.2 million in sales in the quarter.
Kaman also raised its sales outlook for the year. It now expects distribution sales to be between $1.10 billion and $1.11 billion and aerospace sales to be between $620 million and $635 million.
