Giselle Aerni, M.D., has joined the medical staff of St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Aerni is a specialist in sports medicine and received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Prior to joining St. Francis, Aerni completed her residency in family medicine as the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center St. Margaret, and subsequently completed her fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Connecticut. Aerni has extensive experience in sports medicine including serving as a team physician for many University of Connecticut sports teams as well as for the WNBA Connecticut Sun.
