What are the family values of your business, and how do they help you remain competitive in the market?
Honesty, integrity, and trust are the core values we adhere to at APG. They help us remain competitive because our contractors often rely on our word and reputation.
What would your founder say about the state of your company today and its achievements in the last year?
APG has returned to profitability after a period of very low profit margins. We are proud to say that our valued employees kept their jobs throughout the tough times we experienced the past few years. Keeping our APG family together is a vital point to our overall success as a business.
What is the biggest challenge to your business in the coming year?
The weather has a huge impact on our business and the New England winters always present a challenge. There is a rush in the fall to close our buildings in before the snow flies. The cold weather freezes our machinery and causes unsafe working conditions, requiring additional work for safety.
