Advance Auto Parts recently opened its first store and market hub in Cromwell.
The company marked the opening of its store at 136 Berlin Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 9, while also making a donation to the Vinal Technical High School auto technology program.
It is the company’s first store in Cromwell and is part of Advance Auto Parts’ broader expansion plans, which include opening 40 to 45 new stores and 10 to 15 market hubs nationwide in 2026.
As a market hub, the new store serves as a central facility designed to improve parts availability and same-day fulfillment across a network of stores.
Advance operates more than 4,300 stores primarily within the U.S., with additional locations in Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
