Private employers added 238,000 jobs in December, making it the strongest month of 2013, payroll processor ADP said today.
Professional and business services added 53,000 jobs, while construction businesses added 48,000, according to ADP, which uses payroll data to make its own job creation estimates.
The final month of the year eclipsed November’s 229,000 jobs.
For the year, ADP figures show national job creation of 2.15 million.
