ADNET Technologies announced today it has acquired a New York-based IT firm as it eyes expansion in the region.
Rock-Hill Based ADNET, a managed IT services, cloud, and cybersecurity provider, said it closed on the purchase of Tech II Business Services, a Saratoga Springs, New York-based managed IT firm. Representatives from ADNET said the acquisition will “accelerate the combined company’s growth in New York’s Capital Region and across the Northeast, while also creating significant opportunities for their employees and clients.”
Following the move, ADNET officials said they’ll retain all Tech II employees and continue to actively recruit more employees to grow in the region. Tech II CEO Daniel Bardin will join ADNET as general manager, where he will help run the firm’s regional operations alongside current ADNET General Managers Ronald Gibson and Erin Peterson, Vice President Lynette Maffei and CEO Christopher Luise.
Luise said the two companies share a workforce culture that made the acquisition a natural step.
