Ad agency shakes up leadership team

Advertising and marketing agency Cronin has made two key promotions in its executive team.

The Glastonbury-based agency has named Sean Folan president and chief operating officer, with Elizabeth Proctor becoming executive vice president of account service, strategy and digital.

Mark Demuro continues to serve as CEO.

Folan joined Cronin in 2021 as the agency’s healthcare practice leader, and was most recently executive vice president and COO.

“It is a privilege to co-lead an agency with such passionate and talented individuals committed to our clients’ success,” said Folan in a statement announcing the changes.

Proctor has been with Cronin since 2017 leading the account service team. The promotion adds the strategy and digital teams to her portfolio.

“Clients need strategic partners who understand their business and their day-to-day challenges,” said Proctor. “It’s my responsibility to make sure we dig in, identify those challenges and bring the right people to the table to help solve them and deliver results that matter.”

Cronin’s clients include Travelers, Dunkin’ Donuts, Duracell, Liberty Bank, and the state of Connecticut’s Make it Here campaign.
