Achieve Financial Credit Union, which has redesigned offices at its two Connecticut branches in Meriden and New Britain, reopened the doors to its New Britain branch at 450 West Main St. downtown on April 3.
The credit union held a grand reopening, which was attended by about 30 people, on April 5.
In a statement, Achieve Financial President and CEO Andrew Klimkoski said: “We know these latest enhancements will be well received by our members and future members… We’re committed to adapting to our community’s needs, and aim to provide a space that is welcoming to everyone.”
The credit union – which has operated for almost nine decades – announced that both locations have been revamped with the latest state-of-the-art technologies.
There were two phases of the redesign: the drive-up portion was upgraded in fall 2022, and the lobby was renovated this January. The branch remained open during the renovations.
The New Britain branch, which originally opened in February 2006, employs seven people. It offers, among other things, modern e-teller machines; renovated service lanes for faster drive-up service; interior upgrades including a modern lobby and expanded member services, including the ability to make appointments in advance with a member service representative.
The Meriden branch, located at 752 East Main St., underwent upgrades and reopened last year, officials said.
The credit union serves those who live, work, worship or attend school in Hartford and New Haven counties.
