Access Health CT, the state’s public health insurance exchange, said it has promoted Peter Van Loon to executive director of its consulting and business services arm, Exchange Solutions.
Van Loon has been chief operating officer since 2012, after working for Cigna, ConnectiCare, and Aetna. He also served as a captain in the U.S. Navy.
He is the first executive director for Exchange Solutions, which provides business services to other state and private health exchanges.
