Access Health CT, the state’s public insurance exchange, said Thursday that it has enrolled 108,036 state residents since the enrollment period opened on Nov. 15.
That number has grown from 65,473, reported by the exchange in mid-December. Nearly 84,000 residents have enrolled in Medicaid plans, with the remaining 24,000 in plans offered by private carriers, Access Health said.
Thursday is the last day to enroll to receive coverage on Feb. 1, though there is a month remaining in the enrollment period.
Meanwhile, Access Health said its Small Business Health Options program has enrolled 175 businesses.

The exchange enrolled just over 208,000 people during its first enrollment period, which concluded in March 2014.
