The state’s health insurance exchange, Access Health CT, was offline for three days before service was restored Sunday.
An Access Health CT spokesperson said service was down from Thursday morning until 11:35 a.m. Sunday. Exchange officials said on Friday service would be restored by Saturday but that goal wasn’t met.
Access Health CT officials couldn’t immediately define what caused the outage.
The website’s consumer and worker portals were affected by the shutdown. Consumers could not log into the website to enroll, update status or make changes to their accounts during that time.
Access Health CT worked with Deloitte, the CT Department of Administrative Services Bureau of Enterprise Systems and Technology (BEST) and IBM to restore service for the exchange’s private plan and Medicaid customers.
