Kevin Counihan, CEO of the state’s health insurance exchange, will answer questions about insurance enrollment Tuesday during a “Twitter town hall” hosted by a nonprofit that highlights racial and ethnic disparities in accessing health care.
The Health Justice CT town hall is meant to spur a last-minute enrollment push for Access Health CT’s insurance offerings. The first enrollment period under the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, ends March 31.
Health Justice, which uses the Twitter handle @HealthJusticeCT, is backed by the Connecticut Health Foundation and managed by the Society for New Communications Research.
The town hall will run from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and will use the hashtag #enrollCT.
