Jody Ferrer is owner and president of The Perfect Promotion, a West Hartford-based advertising specialty firm that works closely with clients to help enhance brand visibility by developing creative and effective programs utilizing imprinted apparel, promotional products, multi-media and graphic design services.
As a woman business owner, Ferrer is passionate about creating support networks for women in business. Board positions include: CT Women’s Hall of Fame, Camp Laurelwood, and The Inner Circle. Ferrer also serves on school board committees and is active in many non-profits. A graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Ferrer lives with her family in West Hartford.
Patricia “Paddi” LeShane has been one of Connecticut’s top government and public relations professionals for more than 25 years. She is CEO of Sullivan & LeShane, Inc. and Sullivan & LeShane Public Relations, Inc., the state’s leading government relations and public relations firms, respectively. Paddi is best known for her keen insights into the workings of state government and ability to translate complex issues into strategic messages.
Paddi was recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Business by the Hartford Business Journal in 2003. She is an energetic community volunteer, serving on the Hartford Parking Authority as Commissioner / Chairman and as a board member of the DC-based Public Affairs Council, the Connecticut Women’s Council, and the Bushnell Park Foundation.
Nancy Wheeler is vice president of Investor Relations at the MetroHartford Alliance. She is a results-oriented “hands-on” executive who has more than 25 years experience in fund development, organizational leadership and strategic planning. Nancy manages the Alliance’s membership recruitment and retention activities and works closely with the investor community to ensure their full engagement. Prior to her work at the Alliance, Nancy owned her own fundraising consulting business and worked with local and national organizations and foundations including The Bushnell, Hartford Stage, the WGBH Foundation and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
