Former GE Capital executive Abdallah “Ab” Igram has joined Waterbury lender Webster Bank as senior vice president and senior relationship manager in its commercial banking unit.
Igram previously was vice president for Northeast originations in restaurant finance at GE Capital Franchise Finance in Norwalk. He also worked with GE Equity in Stamford.
Both are units of Fairfield conglomerate General Electric Co.
A Fairfield resident, Igram earned his Bachelors degree in economics from Northwestern University and his MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from Babson College.
The Fairfield resident is active as a coach of numerous youth athletic teams and as a volunteer with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
He is former chairman of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut.
