A Million Raised To Fight Breast Cancer

Representatives from the Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield announced that they have surpassed the $1 million mark in donations to the Connecticut Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The news was released at the Komen Connecticut Affiliate’s annual volunteer recognition reception, where the country club presented the affiliate with a $92,500 check from the ‘Play for a Cure’ fundraiser held last summer. This most recent contribution pushed the country club over its $1 million goal after 11 years of dedication to the fight against breast cancer.
