Hartford HealthCare plans to open its first GoHealth Urgent Care center in downtown Hartford, at its new headquarters at 100 Pearl St.
HHC is planning to release more details in the coming weeks and will host open houses, according to Tina Varona, a spokesperson for HHC. The grand opening is expected in December.
“Hartford HealthCare is dedicated to improving access to the highest quality healthcare in the most affordable settings,” Varona said. “With our partners at GoHealth Urgent Care, we are excited to bring a new type of on-demand care to 100 Pearl St. in downtown Hartford. This will provide much-needed healthcare services to the city of Hartford’s residents and to working professionals. We are constantly striving to improve access to world-class health care.”
HHC’s GoHealth Urgent Care is an urgent care provider with locations across the state offering digital tools and access to on-demand care.
Currently, HHC’s nearest GoHealth Urgent Care centers to Hartford are several miles away, in West Hartford and Glastonbury.
Last November, Hartford HealthCare moved into its new 110,000-square-foot headquarters at 100 Pearl St., after investing $14 million in renovations. About 700 employees are expected to eventually be based there.
