A Waterbury-based multifamily investor recently paid $8.25 million for a 63-unit apartment building in West Haven.
A limited liability company led by Moshe Levenberg, of Waterbury, bought the Crestview Apartments building at 62 Treat St., from a limited liability company headed by Jeffrey M. Gault, of Marblehead, Massachusetts in a sale recorded by the town on Jan. 23.
Gault’s LLC paid $7.5 million in 2019 for the 2.15-acre property, which includes a three-story, 62,727-square-foot apartment building completed in 1970.
Northeast Private Client Group Managing Director Brad Balletto and Vice President Jeff Wright represented the seller and procured the buyer.
“The Crestview Apartments presented a compelling opportunity for an established owner-operator to enhance their market presence,” Balletto said. “This transaction also accommodated the seller’s strategic shift towards a less management-intensive, passive investment portfolio, creating a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties.”
