Six Connecticut colleges and universities are featured in the 2013 edition of The Princeton Review’s “Guide to Green Colleges” for their “green” commitment through curricula and infrastructure.
Central Connecticut State University, Connecticut College, University of Connecticut, Eastern Connecticut State University, Wesleyan University, and Yale University, were included for their sustainable academic offerings, campus infrastructure, activities, and career preparation.
None from the state made the guide’s “Honor Roll,” made up of the 21 most environmentally friendly schools.
The guide, which includes 322 schools from the US and Canada, was produced in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council.
