The nine-story building is at 545 Long Wharf Dr., New Haven, and previously served as AT&T’s corporate office. Built in 1988, it has approximately 245,389 square feet of office space on 1.52 waterfront acres.Â
Bids start at $4.5 million. The auction starts on Monday, Nov. 4, and ends on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 1:40 p.m.Â
According to the listing on RealInsight Marketplace, the property is currently 40-percent leased.Â
Newmark Knight Frank, a New York City-based commercial real estate advisory firm, is the investment sales broker. Michael A. Fine of Fisher Auction Co. Inc. is scheduled to handle the auction.Â
The property is owned by 545 Long Wharf Drive Holdings, according to the city Assessor’s office. Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. of Maryland is the company’s principal, according to the Secretary of the State’s office.

Bill Clark, senior vice president of the Geenty Group, Realtors in Branford, was sole broker in three recent lease transactions:
- J&G Mechanical LLC leased 1,600 square feet at 249 Research Drive, Milford from D’Amato Investments, LLC. J&G Principal John Gaudio will use the space for his HVAC business, office space and storage of supplies and parts.
- D’Amato Investments also leased 800 square feet at 132 Pepe’s Farm Road, Milford to Dream Home Services, LLC, James Davis, principal. The latter will use the space for storage of building supplies as well as general office use.
- Nex Gen Landscaping has leased a 1,000-square-foot unit at 2344 Foxon Road, North Branford from Cooper Partners, LLC. Nex Gen principals Zack Barulli and James Sporduti intend to use the space for equipment storage and general office use,
