50,000-sq.-ft. warehouse proposed in Middletown

A 50,000-square-foot warehouse, office and showroom facility is being proposed on Newfield Street in Middletown, just steps from the Cromwell town line, according to plans filed with the city.

The project, proposed for 1345 Newfield St., calls for construction of a new industrial building, according to application materials submitted on behalf of Wholesalers Property Co. LLC.

Wholesalers Property is listed as the property owner, with Bill Tolliver, of Moraine, Ohio, as principal. Tolliver is corporate counsel for real estate at Ohio-based Winsupply, a distributor of residential and commercial construction and industrial supplies.

The project is described in plans as the “Winnair Distribution Center.” Winnair is an affiliate of Winsupply.

The development would include building and site improvements such as 41 parking spaces, lighting, drainage utilities, grading and a retaining wall, according to staff comments prepared for the Middletown Planning and Zoning Commission.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to discuss the application at its April 8 meeting.
