50 Cent’s Farmington mansion among top 10 most popular

A Farmington mansion owned by rapper 50 Cent is one of the 10 most popular in the country, according to an online real estate purveyor.

Zillow.com said in an article released this week that the mansion, on sale for $8.5 million, is the fifth most popular listing on its site. It’s only outranked by properties like a Barbie-style mansion in Beverly Hills, Michael Jordan’s humble abode, and Barack Obama’s current home, the White House.

According to Zillow, the Farmington mansion is 50,000 sq. feet. It has three separate living quarters, each complete with a full kitchen, bedrooms, living and dining rooms. It’s been on and off the market since 2009.

Back in July, 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy. The rapper submitted documents to a Connecticut court that say he owes between $10 million and $50 million to creditors. At the time of the filing, he was reportedly living at the luxurious Farmington estate since 2003, despite an attempt to sell the property after the real estate market crashed.
