5 to watch in 2012

The new year always brings a mix of challenges and opportunities. And as we look ahead, the staff of the Hartford Business Journal has identified five Central Connecticut residents who likely will be making headlines. Among them are an insurance executive who is thinking global, a clean energy advocate with a pot of gold to deploy, a workforce development specialist facing an uphill climb, the man building Bioscience Connecticut and the woman leading efforts to strengthen Bradley International Airport.
