$5 Million Gift Establishes Faculty Chairs

Trinity College received a $5 million gift from Thomas S. Johnson, a 1962 graduate and former trustee and chairman of Trinity’s board of directors, and his wife, Ann Johnson. The gift will finance two endowed faculty chairs at Trinity, the first of which has been awarded to Daniel Blackburn, chair of Trinity College’s biology department and a member of the faculty since 1988.
