A limited liability company with roots in a New York City suburb recently paid $2.8 million for a 40-unit apartment building in New Britain.
Marconi Enterprises LLC sold the 53-year-old, 39,060-square-foot building on 1.2 acres at 96 Clinic Drive to BSD Clinic LLC in a sale recorded by the city on April 11.
Marconi paid $2 million for the property in 2010. The company’s principal is Filadelfo Ossino, of Glastonbury, according to state business records.
The buying LLC is headed by Jacob Lunger, of Spring Valley, New York.

An attempt to reach Lunger was not immediately successful Wednesday morning.
The apartments sit on the southern edge of New Britain, an area thickly developed with apartment buildings.
