Ann Baldwin Principal, Baldwin Media Marketing

A previous 40 under Forty recipient, Baldwin is the principal of Baldwin Media Marketing, a full service public relations and marketing firm based in Newington, currently celebrating its 20th year in business! Baldwin Media has a diverse list of clients in Connecticut and across the United States ranging from education, banking and healthcare to nonprofit organizations.
With years of experience in the broadcasting and communications industry, Baldwin’s firm has built a national reputation for its expertise in supplying support in crisis management, media management and marketing and presentation skills for its clients.
Before establishing Baldwin Media, Baldwin worked for more than 15 years in the broadcasting industry as an anchor/ reporter for stations across the country, including NBC-30 in Hartford and WTIC AM 1080.
Baldwin has received a number of awards for her work and has co-authored numerous articles published on the benefits of media marketing and crisis management.

Eileen Candels, Vice President and District Manager for Hartford, Kelly Services

Candels is vice president and district manager for Hartford for Kelly Services, the workforce solutions company. She began with Kelly as a recruiter over 25 years ago, then moved into positions in business development and management.
Candels has been responsible for leading the Greater Hartford Market since 1991, and has developed many corporate and regional partnerships. She has led the growth of Kelly Educational Staffing, from a small partnership with Bloomfield to today working with more than 50 school districts across the state.
She is a past Business Advisory Council member for AI Prince Tech School, and was recently appointed to the Tunxis Community College’s Workforce Development Board. She is a member of HRACC, APICS, and CBIA and CURE. She has served on boards of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, Business Network Group, and the Seniors Job Bank, and led Kelly fundraising teams for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and March of Dimes. She was a member of the 40 Under Forty class of 2000.

Michael Giuffrida, President/CEO, ForeSite Technologies

Giuffrida founded ForeSite’s predecessor, Giuffrida Enterprises, Inc., in 1997, relying on his business-management skills and strong technology background to solve complex business problems.
Before starting Giuffrida Enterprises, he was involved with the technology planning and implementation for Aetna Life and Casualty, Farmington Management, Inc., and Connecticut Surety Group (CSG). At CSG, he directed and implemented technology initiatives that allowed the organization to grow from 19 to 120 employees and from 2 to 8 offices nationwide.
Now, as president and CEO, Giuffrida is responsible for the financial and business planning of ForeSite as well as the development of strategic business partnerships.
Giuffrida earned a B.S. in Business Management as well as an Executive MBA with honors from the University of Connecticut. He has served on the board of directors for the Rocky Hill Chamber of Commerce was chosen as a 2005 40 Under Forty winner in recognition of his business success and community involvement. Currently, Giuffrida also serves on the board of Family Life Education as vice president.
