Four Connecticut design and crafts businesses are finalists for Martha Stewart’s honors as the nation’s best home-grown firms in their categories and overall, and they need the public’s votes to put them over the top.
The four finalists for the Martha Stewart Made in America Program: New Hartford Artisans Weaving Center, Hartford (finalist in crafts); American Woolen Co. Stafford Springs (finalist in design); Paloma’s Nest, East Lyme (finalist in design); and Raw Material, Bridgeport (finalist in crafts).
Voting, which closes Oct. 19, is available here. Individuals can vote up to six times per day.
“We’re very proud of these four finalists,” state Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith said. “I hope our residents mobilize and help one of these companies take home the blue ribbon. All of them are great examples of the innovative, thoughtful quality work Connecticut can be proud of.”
