A 36-unit condominium building is being proposed in Shelton, according to plans filed with the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
The proposal calls for a four-story, 44,880-square-foot building at 126 Howe Ave. on a 0.76-acre parcel.
Plans show a mix of 20 one-bedroom units and 16 two-bedroom units.
The commission is scheduled to review the application at a regularly scheduled meeting on April 8.
The applicants, Christen L. Perry and Benjamin W. Perry Jr., are seeking to rezone the property from R-4, a high-density residential zone, to the city’s Planned Development District overlay.
The site currently contains an office building constructed in 1896. The property last sold for $450,000 in July 2025, according to property records, and is appraised at $446,900 and assessed at $312,830.
An email seeking comment from Benjamin W. Perry Jr. was not immediately returned.
