Mayfield Place, a 340-unit, luxury apartment community is going up in Enfield, authorities say.
Developer Mayfield Place LLC obtained a $12.8 million loan from Rhode Island lender Washington Trust to build the first phase of 10 two-story buildings, with 10 apartments each, according to Timothy Pickering, Washington Trust’s commercial real estate group senior vice president
The 69-acre property at North Maple Road and Mayfield Drive will consist of 170 one-bedroom apartments, with 1,098 square feet and 1 ½ bathrooms. The rest will be two-bedrooms with 1,646 square feet 2 ½ baths.
Amenities will include garages, a clubhouse, pool, fitness and business centers and tenant storage areas.
Developer Clifton Chapman, of New Stream Funding 24 LLC, did not immediately return a call for comment.
