Groton submarine manufacturer Electric Boat said the U.S. Navy has awarded it a $32.6 million contract modification for nuclear maintenance work.
The contract covers EB’s operation of the Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department, which provides project management, planning, training and other services to support maintenance, modernization and repairs.
EB has 25 employees dedicated to the NRMD.
