An investor from Monroe, New York recently paid $3.13 million for a 33-unit apartment building in Hartford’s South End.

A limited liability company headed by Brooklyn, New York investor Gershon Eichorn sold the 1969-vintage, brick-sided apartment building at 530 Wethersfield Ave., to an LLC headed by Mordechai Stern, of Monroe, New York.

The deed was recorded by the city on April 7. The property was marketed by Steve Pappas and Tess Cullen of Chozick Realty.

The property has 19 one-bedroom and 14 two-bedroom units, along with on-site laundry and off-street parking, according to the Chozick listing. The property has recently undergone “significant” capital improvements, including new windows and full renovation of units, according to the Chozick.
