32-unit Waterbury apartment complex sells for $2.9M

A New York-based limited liability company recently paid $2.9 million for a 32-unit apartment complex in Waterbury.

An LLC helmed by Joseph G. Voll, of Monroe, sold the apartments at 1083 Bank St., in Waterbury’s Brooklyn neighborhood to Pomona, New York-based Bank St. Apts LLC in a sale recorded by the city on May 4.

The buying LLC’s principal is Yitzchok Kaufman, of Waterbury, according to state business records.

The apartment complex at 1083 Bank St. features 32 apartments in five, 9,000-square-foot buildings erected in 1973 on a 1.75-acre property, according to town assessing records.

Kaufman is also principal of another LLC that paid $2.55 million for a 32-unit apartment building in Torrington in a deal recorded by that city in January.
